In my point of view, Bruno’s dad doesn’t seem to be a happy man, but a very strict and serious man. I say this because from the quote ” you need to realize you are at home!”.This suggests that they are not going to get along really well and that there not going to talk to each other that much. This creates an image of anger and stress because their quite a crazy family. This  makes the reader feel quite sad and dissapointed on whats going on with their family
